The doors to Autex Acoustics’ London showroom were open for the week for visitors seeking interior inspiration and to experience the difference of an acoustically treated office space. Alongside their collection of panel, baffle, fin, and screen products, guests who dropped by also had the opportunity to see their new Grid Ceiling Tiles in action.
For the community’s green thumbs, Autex Acoustics also held a sustainability-inspired Green & Sip event, a practical and engaging terrarium workshop led by The Wellbeing Agency. Participants learned about creating and maintaining an ecosystem in a jar and enjoyed cocktails from Lockdown Liquor and delectable charcuterie grazing boards from Grape and Fig.
That same afternoon, global creative director Jonathan Mountfort, visiting from New Zeeland, joined guests in conversation, especially for CDW. Jonathan sat down to discuss Autex Acoustics’ approach to material exploration, designing for circularity, and going beyond sustainability to embrace nature-positive and regenerative design.
However, the pinnacle event of the week was undoubtedly Autex Acoustics’ exclusive, sold-out party: Autex Unearthed. Hosted at fabric nightclub, the team collaborated with Sonn Studio to create an immersive acoustic installation from Autex Acoustics PET Cube™ panels. The cocoon-like installation enveloped guests in an evocative, otherworldly landscape and led them through the venue from room to room.
The experience was supported by a stellar lineup of entertainers and DJs, including palm readers, J’Adore La Vie cabaret performers, and headline act Jodie Harsh. It was a lively celebration of the design community and the endless bespoke design possible of Autex Acoustics panels and treatments.
With another successful CDW behind them, Autex Acoustics is thrilled to announce their participation again in 2025. Subscribe to their newsletter to be the first to know about their events programme for next year.
